Welcome, one and all, to NothingStays' Den of Misery, my mark upon the internet. There are a couple different reasons behind my slapping this mess together: I've made many a website before, but never stuck by them in the long term, flitting between styles and platforms like a butterfly between flowers, or a mosquito between necks; never stayed rooted long enough to lay down a foundation of content, a substrate to lend the facade a semblance of purpose. The problem of toying with form I've dealt with by barring myself from applying more than a slender handful of concessions to readability, but substance is a hairier beast by far.
I'll aim to write short stories and such, leaving the Den a backup for pieces posted to Ao3 and the like, likewise being a hub for original works. Bloggier drivel may mar these pages from time to time, foot-soldiers in an army of technical articles and pointless screeds and whatever else dribbles through my sinuses in a moment of weakness.
$0.50 says I'll abandon the enterprise within a week, but that's no reason not to try.
